All In Due Time - Victoria Street's EP Launch
All in Due Time is Victoria Street's first proper EP launch, and it will bring audiences on a path of emotional attachment and detachment. From midnight sojourns by the highway to the first flight of dawn, Victoria Street will play their sophomore EP, "date.line", in its entirety and more on 4th November!
We will be supported by Falling Feathers and LEW!
With their sophomore EP "date.line", Victoria Street pummels ears with their brand of hard-hitting alternative pop. Blending female fronted alternative pop akin to Against The Current, and the emotional sensibilities of instrumental rock reminiscent of Caspian, “date.line”, will bring you on a visceral journey of finding strength within vulnerability.
On “date.line”, Josh, guitarist of Victoria Street said, “This EP reflects how we sound as a band right now; unapologetically intense, emotional, and raring with energy.”
Victoria Street took to Youtube, with an acoustic version of You Made Me featuring upcoming indie folk crooner, Lewis Loh, better known as LEW. Blending the soulful voice of LEW and the signature emotive performance of Victoria Street proved successful amongst listeners of all ages.
The official music video for You Made Me (Acoustic Ver.) can be seen here.
Victoria Street is a hard-hitting blend of sweet female fronted alternative pop akin to Against The Current, mixed with colossal riffs and pounding rhythms of instrumental rock.
The acclaimed band’s breakthrough with debut EP, “Right Where We Started” attracted many looking eyes. Following the release of their debut EP, Victoria Street was chosen to be part of the National Arts Council’s NOISE Music Mentorship programme in 2015 where they honed their highly attuned sense of music with veteran drummer of Shirlyn and the UnXpected, Brandon Khoo.
Not long after, Victoria Street was accepted into the 2016 Baybeats mentorship programme, where they were mentored by industry experts like Snakeweed Studios producer Leonard Soosay, as well as Errol Tan, who manages homegrown indie label, KittyWu Records.
Both mentorships culminated with an exciting and emotive set at the Esplanade Outdoor theatre, filled to the brim with friends and fans alike. Victoria Street is brimming with energy and potential to make it beyond.
